Programs
We ConnectVETS by helping them develop and refine their job search skills and strategy through our individual and group programs, and by providing programs designed to help employers understand and gain maximum benefit from the talent that our Veterans bring to the table.
ConnectVETS programs are structured to serve Veterans in the Chicago area that are typically within 5 years of their discharge date. We also have resource partners for referrals.
ConnectVETS Mentoring Program
Through our Mentoring Program, our experienced volunteers can provide training to Veterans on an individualized and group basis. This program seeks to link a Veteran committed to the program with an active or retired business professional, who helps provide guidance and directional support that has led to a higher success rate for the transitioning veteran.

ConnectVETS Education Programs
Our Education Programs are designed to help the transitioning Veterans learn about their many options for using their GI benefits for college degree and training programs. Training programs consist of Resume Writing, Job Sourcing in Today's Economy, Interviewing Do's & Don'ts, Networking for Success and many others. ConnectVETS Employment Programs
Our Employer Program is designed to help educate private sector employers on the unique benefits gained from hiring Veterans, such as tax incentives, G.I. Bill provisions, and relocation support, but more importantly it is to connect them directly to the Veteran talent pool.
