ConnectVETS Texas New Mission Initiative

In Texas, according to the US BLS over 42,000 veterans are unemployed and over 770,000 veterans are not in the workforce.

Currently, in Houston alone, we estimate there to be 10,000 veterans in the community college system looking to land civilian jobs. Unfortunately, veterans offices and career services staffs are stretched to the limit. Unfortunately, veterans are not being taught the skills they need to land a civilian job. Many struggle with properly conveying the tremendous skills and knowledge developed while serving our nation.

ConnectVETS in partnership with TCC Learning LLC of League City, TX has launched a Texas New Mission Initiative to combat the challenges veterans are facing in landing good paying jobs.

Our goal is to train 30,000 veterans throughout Texas on how to navigate the civilian job search process to land a great job.
